How To Set-Up RSS Feed in WordPress

rss_iconMy audio podcast titled “What the Heck is a RSS Feed?” went live this weekend. Thanks for the inspiring emails and comments. Although, I have promised my listeners a video tutorial with step-by-step instructions on how to set-up a RSS feed in WordPress 2.3 version and later. I do not break promises! Therefore, here it goes!

Oh yeah! If you have not already, go check out the RSS Feed audio show. This quick and ultra-easy podcast is only 8-minutes long. I give you the low down in layman’s term and how this digital tool can have a tremendous impact on your business blog. I promise you!

This will be a 2-Part video tutorial.  Part I, is a quick tutorial on setting up your own RSS feed url address from Feedburner.com. This step will allow you to publicize your blog, audio or video content. Part 2 is placing your live RSS feed address in a WordPress blog or web site. This second step will allow your visitors to subscribe to your blog. Ready?
Good luck and happy learning!

Thank you for your two videos. By following what you presented I was able to create a feed and post it to my blog.

  2. Well, I was going to follow your instructions but I stopped when I found out Google owned Feedburner. I think you should too. There is absolutely no good reason to put Google in charge of syndicating your content. No good can possibly come of it.
